I think that there should be 1-day passes, and the days should be themed.
That is, there should be one day with more community appeal. That day should
be cheaper for individuals than the other days. I heared complaints from
people who couldn't come for the whole 3 days, but the interesting talks
were spread between all days, so they didn't come at all. I think the 1-day
passes should also have an early bird discount, so that in all, a
Hamakor/ISOC member should be able to come to the community-themed day for
around 50NIS.
To make sure companies do not pay the individuals' price, make the
individuals sign that their fee is not refunded by any third party and write
it clearly on the receipt that they will pay the difference otherwise.
Also, you can reduce the difference by adding a "concessions" price for
students and soldiers.
Given all this, I suggest pricing as follows:
|Concession |Individual | Company |
+Early|Late |Early|Late |Early|Late |
--------+-----+-----+-----+-----+-----+-----+
3-day | 170 | 260 | 210 | 320 | 450 | 650 |
--------+-----+-----+-----+-----+-----+-----+
1-day | 110 | 170 | 140 | 210 | 290 | 450 |
--------+-----+-----+-----+-----+-----+-----+
Comm.day| 90 | 140 | 110 | 170 | 290 | 450 |
--------+-----+-----+-----+-----+-----+-----+
Hamakor/ISOC members get 50 NIS discount off individual fee only (no double
discount).
